We are proud to announce the promotion of Simon Whitlock to Operations Director and Adam Cheadle to Commercial Director, marking an exciting new chapter for KLG.
Simon’s journey with KLG spans more than 25 years. Having joined the business in 1999 as a Landscape Operative, Simon has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, culture, and operational excellence. Promoted to Senior Contracts Manager in 2018 and most recently serving as Head of Operations, Simon now oversees all operational leadership teams across the business. His focus on efficiency, productivity, health and safety compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement has been instrumental in delivering outstanding results for our clients. Alongside this, Simon’s ability to build strong, trusted relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers continues to set the benchmark for operational leadership at KLG.
Adam joined KLG in 2017 as a Contracts Manager, bringing with him extensive expertise from his studies in Landscape Construction and Horticulture. His strong technical knowledge and on-site experience quickly earned him the respect of both colleagues and clients, leading to his promotion to Senior Contracts Manager in 2022. In his role, Adam has overseen Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Contracts Supervisors, and Contracts Administrators, while playing a key role in client engagement and commercial strategy. His deep understanding of civil engineering principles enables him to provide vital technical and commercial support from pre-tender through to project completion.
Together, Simon and Adam will be the driving force behind KLG’s continued success—working collaboratively to strengthen our operations, enhance commercial performance, and support the sustainable growth of the business.
