In 1999 Simon Whitlock arrived for his first day at work at Kingston Garden Services at the tender age of 18. To put this in context; our current youngest member of staff wouldn’t be born for another 3 years. It was apparent from an early age that Simon was destined for higher things. He soon learnt howto drive the tractor. This lead on to being very competent driving excavators and culminated with him passing his full HGV licence.
As the company grew Simon reduced his machine driving duties and became one of our first genuine supervisors. He could always be relied upon to get the job done, even if this meant working into the night. Contract management was Simons next role and his “can-do-attitude “and affable nature ensured that many new clients were secured and then retained.
Simon is now senior contract manager and is spear-heading further growth for KLG . His first 23 years with the company have been very successful, Simon is hard working, clever and is a trusted and respected colleague to us all.
